Gijs van Lennep

Jhr. Gijsbert (Gijs) van Lennep (Aerdenhout, 16 March 1942) is a former Dutch Formula 1 and Sportscar driver. He began his career as a Formula V driver. Later, he was included in the Racing Team Holland.

In 1967, Van Lennep, a member of the Van Lennep family, took his first victory with DAF in Formula 3 in Sweden. Also in 1967, he started driving for Porsche. In 1971, he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Helmut Marko.
