Pescara

The Pescara Circuit is a former race track in Pescara, Italy. It was a circuit on public roads.

The circuit had two long straights that ran through villages in the area, and the city of Pescara. The circuit was similar to the original Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps. Due to the hilly course of the track, it was considered by many to be the most dangerous circuit ever.

In 1951, a Formula 1 race took place at this circuit for the first time, this race was not part of the championship. In 1957, the first and immediately last Formula 1 race took place which did count for the championship.
